Practice — a road to success

Future planning is for betterment. Everyone loves to do simple and easy things. Unless and until before start every task looks difficult. The best thing to simplify a task is to divide it into small parts. Small parts make the task more practical and the result more achievable.

Regular practice makes one more skilled and master. Sachin Tendulkar one of the renowned Indian cricketers known for his best cricket practices. With his practice, he becomes a master of cricket.

In 2007, During the third ODI against Australia, George Bradley Hogg a former Australian cricketer bold out Sachin Tendulkar, and there is one photo of it. Brad Hogg was a beginner at that time and was very happy. He takes this photo and asked Sachin Tendulkar for an autograph. He signed and underneath his autograph, he wrote ‘this will never happen again, Hoggy.

Tendulkar kept his word. He never got out against Hogg again in his career. After writing these words he is not relaxing, not eating burger pizza, not drinking beer. Imagine the level of confidence when he wrote this. He burns himself for proving what he wrote. How much practice consistent he will be to prove his words.

After the 2007 match, Tendulkar and Hogg encounter 30–35 times, in ODI, T20, IPL, Test matches. But Hogg never took Tendulkar’s wicket again.

This is the power of practice with consistency. For practice, there must be a passion for your job. Passion drives love for it. Just do even little things with great love. What Tendulkar is doing? So simple, he is just hitting a ball. His love for his job and consistent practice makes him a master in his field.

Just burn yourself with the dedication of consistency of practice. Burn it and earn it, You will succeed with practice for sure.

Major Dhyan Chand three times Olympic winner also known as “Magician of the game of Hockey”. He won three Gold medals in Olympics in the year 1928, 1932, and 1936 His level of practice is that much that people think he has something hidden in his hockey stick. It was later investigated there was nothing like that it was his practice. He was so much dedicated that he practiced with ball and hockey stick on the railway track. He rolls the ball on the track that it doesn’t fall.

During the Olympics when Major was not able to make any goal coach asked him the reason. He said that there was something wrong with the goal post. The coach said, it is not possible, this is Olympic. Then on saying of Major a team was called to measure the court. It was found that the goal post was 2 feet short. This is only possible with practice.

For dream life keep working on dreams. Practice until you become successful. Skill comes from consistent and planned practice. Practice as you have never won; perform as you have never lost. Practice is the best of all instructors. When you practice for the best, it brings the best out of you. Keep on enjoying your practice time.
